This week has been restoring a couple of Vintage BSA tanks for local customers. First a 1925 model B round tank, which needed old coating removed, de rust inside, and Paintwork with lines and Decals.
Second is a 1930s BSA sloper tank, which has been Chromed, but had rust inside, and needed paintwork and decals.
The tank was chemically de rusted inside, and then coated with Sureseal. The Chrome was masked up with protective tape, and then the outside of the tank was carefully blasted to get rid of rust, before applying filler, and then paintwork.
Decals are applied, and then a couple of coats of 2 pack lacquer.
Both customers very pleased!
